On Mother's day I was in Boston and came home the night of Mother's Day. The kids were so sweet to tell me how much they had missed me. The boys told me over and over again the missed me. How nice to be missed. As soon as we walked in the door from the airport the kids were eagerly handing me mother's day cards and gifts they had made. Jonah wasn't very eager, was sitting on the couch with a pale face and the throw-up bucket, but he perked up a bit when he gave me his preasent. Grandma Hays helped Ellie and Jessica make cards for me, and she took Jessica to See's candy and they purchased a yummy chocolate for me. The girls were so proud of their cards. Mason and Jonah had made a present at school. They filled out some papers that said, "I love you because...." Mason said, because you are the best mom ever and you make the best birthday cakes. Jonah's said, because you love me and you care for me. You go to work for our family, you make lunch and dinner for me. I of coarse started crying. The papers were beautifully colored and framed. I then gave the kids their souveniers from Boston. We had fun exchaning presents. I tucked the girls into bed and the boys snuggled into bed with me for the night since we thought Jeff wouldn't make it back that night. Then Jeff did come home about 1am, he was able to get on a flight to Chicago that got in on time that allowed him to make his connecting flight. Yeah!! I loved coming home to my cute kids. They are so great and I love them soooo much. I included a picture of them since I am a proud mom.

I am always amazed at what your kids are doing. Are they really old enough to cook? Yep, I guess so. Sounds like you had a fun day.
